All of our teachers are passionate about music and the development of children. They create a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development.

HEATHER DONNELLY

 Owner/Director Music Together® teacher. Heather has been performing since the age of 5 on stage, in television, radio and film. She has studied acting and singing her whole life, earning a BA in TV/Radio Communications and a minor in Musical Theater from Rider University and Westminster Choir College. Heather is a registered Music Together® Teacher, and a former MT family member. A lifelong resident of Sussex County, she resides with her husband and three small children in Sparta. Heather is honored and excited to help families create memories, friendships and above all share the power of music education.

 

   
Nicole DeLoi

 

Nicole DeLoi

Nicole was born and raised in Nebraska. She is a lifelong musician and performer who studied at the University of Nebraska for Performing Arts with emphases on violin and voice. After moving to New Jersey in 2004, Nicole began performing with several bands across the state. Since becoming a mommy, she still is able to perform at weddings as one half of an acoustic folk/pop duo. But, Nicole states her favorite "gig" to date is sharing the joy of music with the families of Sussex County as a registered Music Together teacher!  

 

 

   
Jenn Papaganeres

 

 Jenn Papaganeres

 Jenn discovered Music Together and fell in love with the progam and the benefits of making music together with her family when her first son was born in 2008. Music has always been a big part of Jenn's life. She starred in many school plays and musicals and was always a member of a chorus. Jenn has a real passion for singing and is presently a member of the Jefferson Township Community Chorus. Before becoming a mother, Jenn was an Elementary School Teacher for nine years. Teaching comes naturally to Jenn and she loves sharing her energy and nurturing personality with her students. Jenn resides in Sparta with her husband and two sons. You can count on Jenns classes to be lively and fun. We are extremely happy and excited to add Jenn to our Music Together family as our newly registered Music Together Teacher!

Katie Sondermeyer

Katie has been in the theatre since the age of 3.  She has studied dance, acting and singing and earned her BA in Theatre Studies from Montclair State University.  Katie has been working in childcare for seven years.  She has worked in daycares, camps, after school programs, babysitting jobs and more.  She is a proud former cast member of Disney World which has made her a super fan of all things Disney!  As a registered Music Together teacher, Katie is beyond excited to be able to share her love of music, the theatre and children in such a fun, playful environment and be a part of creating life long memories and bonds for parents, caregivers and their children!

 

 

 

   
Jessica Festa

Jessica Festa

 

As an experienced music teacher and performer, Jessica comes to Sing a Song NJ to teach piano and voice to children and adults.  In addition to teaching private lessons to piano and vocal students, she was an adjunct instructor in both piano and voice at Clark Summit University (formerly Baptist Bible College) as well as founding and directing a private music studio in PA.  Jessica implements healthy techniques and artistic concepts in teaching her lessons using fun, innovative methods and a cheerful disposition.  Jessica has also directed and conducted children's choirs and recitals.  We are very excited to have Jessica bring her love of music and teaching children and adults to Sing a Song NJ.

 

 

 

 

 

   
Jill Pouliot

Jill Pouliot

Jill Pouliot has studied piano for 11 years and continues to pursue her career in the field of collaborative piano under the instruction of Mrs. Dori Martin. Jill has supported young vocal students with her piano skills and continues in private settings. Having sung for 9 years with the Children’s Chorus of Sussex County, Jill understands the need for good communication between a singer and pianist. During her years with the CCSC, Jill performed twice at Carnegie Hall, competed in the International Choral Kathaumixw in British Columbia, Canada, and earned the highest award each year in the High Notes Choral Festival in Pennsylvania. Her piano solos have graced the ears of nursing homes and recitals throughout Sussex County where she resides with her family, a mound of books, and her beloved piano. We welcome Jill as our newest musical addition to our family. Jill is our accompanyist and we are so excited to have her with us!

   
John Scalera

John Scalera

We are so excited to be bringing John Scalera into our Musical Family!  John has been a guitar teacher with over 20 years of experience throughout New Jersey.  He has studied with well known teachers such as Steve Girardi and Matt O'Ree.  He is qualified in Music Theory, Composition and Advanced Improvisation. John has also served as a faculty member on the staff at Fairleigh Dickinson University on their Madison, NJ campus.  John is a resident of Sparta with his wife and two daughters and looks forward to offering Guitar Lessons to children and adults.

   
Michael Berry

 

Michael Berry


 Michael Berry has come to our music family as our piano teacher! He has been playing piano since the age of 5 and has never looked back. His love of music has taken him all the way to a double major at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. He is majoring in Music Education and Jazz. In 2014, Michael was chosen as an All-State Jazz Pianist.  He is also trained in classical piano by a Julliard pianist and has been studying with Bill O'Connell the past 4 years. Michael will also be teaching beginner guitar to those students who have never played before. Michael brings his love of music, piano, guitar and voice to our Music Family.
